 What are they?

The cartoning machines are automatic or semi-automatic devices used to load products into cardboard boxes (or cartons) during the packaging process. These machines are particularly useful in the food, beverage, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, chemical industries, and many other sectors where it is necessary to package a large quantity of products in boxes for transportation, distribution, and storage.

Operation of cartoning machines:

The operation of a cartoning machine generally involves the following phases:

Box formation: The machine takes flat cardboard sheets and folds and glues them (or closes them with adhesive tape) to form a box.

Product loading: Once the box is formed, the products are taken from a production line (such as bottles, cans, smaller boxes, jars, etc.) and inserted into the box.

Box closing: Once the products have been loaded, the machine closes the box, sealing it with glue, adhesive tape, or interlocking, depending on the type of machine.

Carton exit: The already packaged box is then moved to the next stage of the production line, such as palletizing or transportation.

 What do we offer?

1. Manual or Semi-Automatic Cartoning Machines:

In these machines, the operator plays an active role in the cartoning process. The operator can manually load the products into the boxes, while the machine handles the formation and closing of the box.

Semi-Automatic: In this case, the machine performs part of the process, such as forming and closing the box, but the operator must load the products or intervene in the process stages.

2. Automatic Cartoning Machines:

These machines are fully automated and handle the entire process, from box formation to product loading and closing. Automatic machines are ideal for high-speed production environments and large product volumes.

Horizontal Cartoners: Products are placed horizontally in the box. This type of machine is common when products are of regular shape and are loaded in an orderly manner.

Vertical Cartoners: Products are inserted into the box in a vertical position. These machines are useful for loading taller or uniquely shaped products.

3. Wrap-Around Cartoning Machines:

These machines use a preformed carton (wrap-around) that automatically wraps the product. The carton is placed around the product and then closed. It is a common solution for products like cans, bottles, and jars.

4. Injection Molding Cartoning Machines:

These machines can form the carton directly on the product, wrapping or placing a box with extreme precision. Often used in high-speed applications, they are very efficient when working with complex packaging.

5. Cartoning Machines for Special Formats:

Some machines are designed to handle cartons of particular shapes or sizes. For example, they can be used to load products into boxes or packages with non-standard dimensions.
